What is the most difficult thing for you to believe?

Posted on Oct 13th, 2008 by casspoe : Realm Jumper casspoe
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 09, 2008:

How little we've advanced spiritually as a race in the thousands of years we've inhabited Earth. We truely are one of the slowest species in the universe. And sometimes I feel that we're getting worse- falling farther into our delusions and mis-guided thoughts.

Why has it taken us so long to get to this barely-aware spiritual point? We reject our power, we damage our bodies and our planet, we let others tell us how to think and what to believe, we deny that we're the ones creating our lives- all because we've let fear dictate us. This is our playground, the grand illusion in which we can create, so why is no one smiling? Why have we kept ourselves in pain?

It's hard to believe how ignorant we are. But it can't last forever. I only hope the human race won't destroy itself before we finally stop using ignorance as an excuse to hid from responsibility.

Greed and Power,

The best an individual can do is to cut out a peice of the American (or wherever else) Pie and nuture it as best as you can. Make it your Nirvana and protect it at any cost. Join the like minded and form a consolidated front to tackle the political issues. When it comes to politics, the numbers usually hold the power…

it will all end very soon.  not to sound so bleak but this is our dinosaur downfall.  im not sure how it will happen, but years from now everything will be utter chaos.  everything has been let go for so long, how can you replace it?  I mean we worry about the air, water, nature, well being when it's so far dug in a hole there is no way out.  I have been reading alot about the world and whats happening, it pretty much refers to what you said.  it's our playground.  we destory it and want a better one I guess.  we keep ourselves in pain because when you look around there is no trust.  I wish it was back in my parents time, they used to say how great it was, how everyone cared, everyone helped.  it's very sad….

as for the poltics, I think this may well determine what direction this world goes into.  we need alot of good sane numbers.

Spread the love Charles! I don't fear the future. I think we're living in a great time. Every generation has problems to fix- ours are just greater because we've made greater mistakes. We're coming to the end of a cycle- what we choose to embrace will determine what will happen next.

I always find it funny when someone says “I wish I lived back then”. Do you really? Would you like to live in a world where white people beat up on blacks and kept them out of “white people” areas? Or where women were seen as insignificant and couldn't work at high-status jobs? Or where solar power and hyrogen cars couldn't even be conceived as being marketed and used by regular people? Would you be willing to trade our current advancements in technology and equality just because a few people were “nicer” back then?

Life back then had more stereotypes and negativities than it does today. Yeah, our planet is in a very bad position, but what else? I think there's more to gain from living in this time because the world has matured in important ways, and we're being pushed to make larger growths in responsibility right now.

i don't fear the future-

women will own the world in the new embrace to life.

the race issue will always be in the background, people just want it not so apparent.  this place, where I live as shown me this.

the new hydrogen cars are great and well needed.  but the government and gas/oil companys will put a end to it. this stand will get to big and they will lose money, then the hand of power and will smash it all sadly.  They are already trying to find ways to lower gas enough and make cars run less gas without these new options.

Technology has grown for the good in most cases.  but it killed communication between people.
and for little things that annoy me it will kill music.  people putting trust in a little hand held device to save their lifetime of music scares the hell out of me lol

the ideas great, i don't just tech enough yet.  but salute those who do.

it will also kill video games and movies

everything will get so expensive 20-30 years from now only rich will buy.

SPREAD THE LOVE! SPREAD THE LOVE!

You have such a cheery outlook on the future, don't you? lol
I envision a much different future- one with respect for the earth and less wars. I also envision a world government where there are no longer individual countries but a world power. Then there would be no need for war!

Anyway, just because you said that about music, I'm getting you an ipod for christmas! Did we tell you that ours did crash and erase everything but that's why you BACK IT UP! We plugged it into the comp and all was right in the world once more.

Women DID own the world, way back in the “past”- but men made them fearful and took the power. We've each had our shot at power, it's time to equalize it now. I envision a future with balance- where women and men hold EQUAL power.
